looks like it got cracked on the inside before you cut it… like rolled and popped something just hard enough to crack it internally. or it was squished just the right way. but it happened before you cut it lol. still looks safe.

However, some people think it’s due to inadequate pollination. It could be either, or both!
It is still safe to eat. Supposedly the melon is slightly sweeter and richer this way.
