Is it still possible to save a plant like this? I got the plant when it was already partly yellow. The previous owner said it was due to lack of sunlight. I have another one that’s perfectly fine and the owner said that other one got more sunlight. So i’d put this one close to the window, tried watering it well and add some nutrition for the plant. Doesn’t seem to help, and the yellow keeps (slowly) spreading. Any tips?

This looks like a sago palm. If it is the plant is relocating the nutrients in the leaves back to the plant and to any new growth. Don’t cut them off until they are completely dead. Sagos need a lot of light and don’t react particularly well to over watering.
