The seeds are 6 weeks old starting tomorrow, I only have 3 that survived. Is it too early to open them up?
I had good germination until 3 weeks ago and they started damping off. I don’t know if it’s because I didn’t get temp swing enough, or if I added to much top grit they got smothered. I did start misting them 3 weeks in and that also could of done it. I had about 15 or so germinate overall, so I guess I’m doing something right.
Planning on sowing again in October but would like to use this container for my seedling again.

They are on a heat mat for 12 hours and in front of my ac set at 64 degrees for the rest of the night
I’d take the dome off but be careful of the light levels. Keep them moist but don’t start to actually harden them off for another several months, or until they have several leaves and are showing their first real leaves.
