This is a seed grown Philodendron spiritus sancti from North Shore Tropicals in BC, Canada. I don’t believe they have any more instock atm, tho.
I recently had to basically restart my collection after a bad thrips infestation. I decided to splurge a bit and get myself something a bit more expensive as a little pick me up after feeling so down about losing my plants. Originally I wasn’t even looking for a spiritus sancti when I found it, I was looking for a decent sized thai constellation, but after I saw it I couldn’t get it out of my mind.
I’d love some tips for caring for it if anybody has any. From my research they seem to actually be fairly easy care, but I’m still terrified of killing it. Right now it’s growing in straight sphagnum moss. I’m not sure if I should continue to do that or switch it to an aroid mix after it acclimates.
