I appreciate your green thumbs, but need to part with this stuff. I have too many projects/hobbies and not enough time.
A family member gave it to me, and has a bit of a complex about (previously) expensive items going to landfills.
I am thinking about posting on FB Marketplace at a low cost ($100?), as is. Il
Includes: tower, growing medium, submersible pump, and water chemicals.
I know nothing about what I have here, except the obvious: it’s pretty old. Does anyone recognize this?
In honor of my family member I just want someone to use it.
Any thoughts on this? Should I post it as free?
Should I just dispose of the chemicals, as they have likely lost effectiveness?

Doesn’t look that old, i think those are still for sale on aliexpress and other sites. I’d offer it up for a few bucks and if no bites freecycle or buy nothing new groups on the bookface.

If any of the bottles have a broken seal, toss em. Rest are probably okay, but weaker than intended, especially if exposed to outside heat on a daily basis.
If you don’t get any local bites, or you’re located anywhere near cinci, i’d happily take it off ya and send you some pics in a few months when it’s grown.
