About 1-1.5 years ago I acquired a nice size but still smaller Thai Con. In the time span since life has been difficult. The loss of a parent and another beloved in-law like parent, and one of my precious cats, took its toll and some oak da suffered. This tough little guy has survived it all from sunburn to sitting in water, snails decimating it, and being shoved back into a very dark forgotten corner and left for many months with very little checking on him. Upon cleaning out in prep for hurricane Idalia I found him again, pulled him out, reported him in good fresh aroid mix in a larger home, regular water and a much better place with lots of mottled sun & very bright indirect light. Look at the reward he’s giving me! Now is his time to shine and become the top plant he always could have been in my collection. This is one tough plant! Thanks little guy! I’m sorry I neglected you. Won’t happen again.

  1. Pleased for you! Mine’s shown to be quite tough as well.

Here’s hoping life goes a little easier for ya the next few years. 🤞🏻
