    I planted spuds in tubs in first week in July, last week the greenery started to die back? On only one tub. I sent details and photos to pal he said pull them up, I've 12 buckets incl these, he said I would know what I'd done wrong when I pulled them. I pulled up a hefty cullender of decent spuds small but better than I expected. They were bone dry, he said I needed to water them much better than I was. I'm a new gardener so everything is worth learning from more experienced people. Seems like I just wasn't giving them enough water, I've now rectified that, I've watered them but how much water is enough? They are 30litre tubs?

    Looks like the spuds tubs went dry on the size of some tubers but still a crop. Cucs the same. Good update and thank you for the info
