In the warm zones like California or Florida, Chandler strawberry plants are usually be ready for harvest beginning in June and produce strawberries till July. This is a prolific strawberry and each Chandler strawberry plant can produce a lot of strawberries, upto a few dozens.
Chandler strawberry is not known to be disease resistant but its one strawberry variety that hardly gets infected. The onlyinsects to watch out for are slugs which can destroy strawberry plants.
