Shame somebody can't help them out with gardening
I overwintered a California Wonder bell pepper and a Black Beauty eggplant last winter. I would like to do the same thing this year. Do you know how many years you can do this with the same plants and have them stay healthy?
If i have the room do i have to put it in a smaller pot
Great update Ivan, thanks for the tips on over wintering peppers. Thanks for sharing. Wishing Josie and Vernon all the very best, get well soon Vernon.

Ivan, what about doing this with aubergines? Will it work and any advice will be appreciated.
Thanks Ivan, for this very interesting vlog. I hope that Vernon gets well soon and that Josie does well looking after him and growing the nutritious micro greens. Take care and all the best. Stevie
i grew my 1st pepper in an aero garden, then transplanted into a container. it's got flowers now, all indoors here in nrth calif. good show, love the accent and the tips š
Speedy recovery Vernon, š take it easy one step at a time ā¤
Brilliant video Ivan, im going to do this.
What about watering n feeding? How often do i need to do this? Thank you in advance.
Thanks Ivan, I will try this on a pepper I grew from seed that has only just started flowering this late in the season. Iām not sure whether they will get enough light because my house is east / west facing but it seems a shame to just bin the plant so Iāll give it a go. Wishing Josie and Vernon well and hope Vernon is up and about very soon. My dad had a fall about a month ago and my life has become a round of appointments, checking up and caring for him whilst trying to juggle work and keeping on top of my own home and garden too so I really sympathise with what Josie is going through. So glad they are going to still do some gardening in a small way, Iāve found that even getting half an hour in the garden just helps stop my head spinning and enables me to relax and forget about everything else just for a while. šš
Yes all the best wishes to Josie and Vernon for a speedy recovery. My peppers are finally turning . They are yellow peppers and Iāve been waiting patiently. With this sun promised this week hopefully Iāll be picking yellow peppers. Useful info for over wintering peppers. Thanks Ivan
