Several weeks ago, the Lithops in the center of the grouping showed vertical lines. Thinking I might have overwatered it, I’ve withheld giving it a drink since then. Is it simply splitting to make room for a new leaf (or flower) or do I need to water it (it looks like it’s begging for H2O). I don’t want to kill it. Thanks in advance for your input!

The middle one and the one on top right could take some water for sure. But just a little bit
Can’t say it’s splitting cause the center is still attached.
Sometimes lithops vertical lines means overwatered, horizontal means needs water. Splitting like that often indicates too much water and it’d almost trying to “air” itself out
The top left one has at least one horizontal wrinkle…I wish you would take some side pics.
