  1. WOW Angela, If you can grow a garden in 9 b Arizona successful. We should be able to in Texas 9 b. LOVE YOUR VIDEOS. Thank you so much for teaching and sharing with us all. LOVE YOU ♥

  2. I devoted part of my veggie garden to cut flowers this year. Lisianthus are so wonderful and worth the effort to start from seed. 🌸 The small cages are so handy for squash and eggplant too.

  3. I’ve been using the cube towers for years! They fit perfectly into the larger pots I use for tomatoes, peppers and eggplants. I highly recommend them!

  4. I use an old swing set to garden “on”. The swings are missing but the structure is very sturdy.

  5. I love your vertical gardening❤️Thank you .Growing in the garden , Does your friend's husband sell his wine barrel trellises,?

  6. Awesome follow up video.
Thank you for these, Angela. After watching your previous video, I vertical gardened this year and the yard just looks amazing. I’ll have to admit that it was not my idea. 🥸

  7. Hello, this is the first time I comment,I want to ask if there is relative humidity in your zone.I lives in 9b but in Florida.

  8. I found a doorway baby gate in someones garbage so I repurposed it as a cucumber trellis, standing it on the vertical. Works great!!

  9. I love your videos! You get right to the point and explain things succinctly. Wish I had thought to support my tomatillos like you did!
(I have never found/seen arches that I like the look of more than your custom made ones)! 💚

  10. Love the whiskey barrel obelisks! I have been looking for ladder mesh for 4 years now and cannot seem to find any!! I even went to several stores when we took a trip down to TX and they did not have any 🙁 I am wondering if you have a video on how you support your lights around your garden. I love the look and would like to do something like that in mine.

  11. You said it. Better to trellis when you plant. Ladder mesh block are cost effevtive and easy to store. I use branches, since I have access to them.

  12. Have to ask if you grew tomatillos from seed or from seedlings you found at your local nursery? I live in zone 9a. Would love to learn how to grow them. Not sure if you are able to share in an upcoming video? Thanks.

  13. I have used T Post with long branches formed in a t pee fashion and added string for the beans to climb up. Worked great with this OK wind.

  14. I use the tomato cages for some of my climbing flower vines – they work great! I found those plant clips at Dollar Tree – they work great too! Will be experimenting with vertical crops in containers this season – should be interesting!

  15. Wonderful video Angela! I too use tomato cages for peppers! I also use the for zinnias, eggplant and have found them especially helpful with summer squash plants. Thank you! 💚

  16. Great video (as usual), thank you! This is definitely one of my favorite topics. I'm still very new to gardening but I definitely appreciate optimizing space! A setup that has worked well for me is: I bought a 10' 3/8" rebar from Home Depot. I had some bright orange Mason's line from another project. I cut the rebar in half and used banding strap to fix it to the sides of my (wooden) raised bed. I then used the string to set up a Florida Weave trellis. It's working great for my determinate tomatoes! It's super easy and very cheap. Rebar comes up to 20' lengths, so it can be easily customized to whatever height. I really like your setup for the whiskey barrel. I might give a shot to welding something like that this winter. It won't be nearly as pretty though. I have a cattle panel trellis that my Malabar spinach is in the process of smothering.

  17. I absolutely ❤❤❤ this video. You are so informative and creative. Continuing blessings to you — Central Florida 9b

  18. Thank you for a great informative review on vertical gardening. It has given so many great options for both vegetables and flowers in my mid sized urban garden.

  19. Thank you for this great video on trellis growing! I need this badly as I have a small yard space. I have 2 whiskey barrels we call wine barrels. The large tomato cages work great on my purple tomatillios. Bamboo works great on peppers starting out or unruly cucumbers on the ends of an alreast full trellis!

  20. Hi, do you use the 2 or 8 inch mesh ladder block? I see both at Home Depot.

  21. Where do you buy your raised bed soil or what brand of soil can I use for planting that I can buy in the store. I liked the idea of worm casting that you buried in the ground . Thank you!!
