See how we transformed a 60 acre neglected property in 1.5 years. We walk through our current setup and operations. We walk through our setup for our free range chickens, various chicken breeding-stock flocks, how we use our pigs and sheep for land clearing and management and how we are setup for gardens. We talk about future plans, our temporary setup and show what it all looks like after being on this previously neglected property for 1.5 years.

We would love to hear from you :

  2. I love your pigs! They’re so adorable! Your farm has grown so much! So happy for both of you! 👏👏👏🙏❤️

  3. Well organized video. Really like how you show the drone shots when describing the area. It really helps show where things are on the Farm. It also helps when you show the before and after, which really helps show all the progress you’ve made!!!!
Looks like the trees next to the house will need a trim so the branches don’t touch the house, but so much better than before when trees were covering up the house
And yes, you have done a great job and the animals are all well cared for.

  4. I’ve been watching you for several years now and have loved living vicariously through you since I’m just a suburban housewife and sahm. We also have 3 dogs and I have a very small raised bed garden but it’s hard to grow here in hot AZ. Keep up the amazing work!

  5. You guys have done an incredible job on that property. I don’t see how anybody else could say any different it’s just beautiful.❤

  6. You guys have done an amazing job getting your homestead set up. All of the aerial views are awesome!!

  7. Wow and Wow!! You guys have done soooo much in such a short period of time! I love the drone shots of your property, it really shows us just how much you have accomplished. Thank you so much for sharing.

  8. You’ve achieved so much in eighteen months👏👏👏 Loved seeing the pig wallow 🐷🐷 Save one of them and get him a girlfriend……piglets 😍 Really enjoyed this! 😃

  9. I have been watching you since the beginning and you guys have done a magnificent job with your land.

  10. This is a great video you showed us a little bit of everything read idea with the screens. I certainly will use that idea. Thank you.

  11. I'm a long time subscriber from early on in your property search. It is remarkable what the two of you have done in a short time! Your property is beautiful and I love you guys! A 76 yr old fan in Alabama.

  12. Love your homestead. Thank you for sharing your journey, it is inspiring. P.S. Great job on this video. Take care friends.

  13. Why'd you name your pigs like pets when they are soon to be slaughtered and put in the freezer, as you say? IMO very unsettling, bizarre, weird. As a vegan I'm particularly sensitive to it. As most of your followers prob eat other species it wouldn't hit them the same way, I guess.

  14. You guys are incredible! I've really enjoyed sharing your journey. Nate, there have been times you worked yourself into the ground and at times I worried about you, but here you are and I know it's been worth it. I wish you guys all good things 😊

  15. You have done a spectacular job. I grew up on a farm and you are strategically planning, reflecting and revising and you can really see the progress. Impressed from afar.

  16. Great video, thank you for sharing it with us. One of the most important things that you've learned (in my opinion) is to not try to expand too quickly. Slow and steady wins the race. You have both accomplished so much on your homestead. Kudos to you.
I'm looking forward to seeing your progression over the coming months and years xxx

  17. You both have done a great job with your homestead!! I grew up in SE British Columbia in the country and we had a similar set up. I’m looking forward to seeing what you accomplish in the next year!

  18. This was a great video tour of all your work and projects. You certainly have accomplished a lot in the time you've had this property . It is good you have long range plans and don't expect to make your goals quickly. Slow and steady wins the race! Or, as a friend of yours always say, "Slowly, slowly._😉

  19. Great job on all you have accomplished. When we finally are able to get our own homestead, I hope my husband and I can do half as much as you have done in 18 months.

  20. What about using a milk crate on it's side for the big chickens. Saw geese in one on another channel.
You all have come a long way! GREAT JOB 👍

  21. You guys have done amazing! I started watching when you first moved to the property and Nate was nervous about making the turn into the driveway and then it took several hours to maneuver and park your camper. I was a farm girl from Ohio. I was skeptical then. When you bought your electric-powered mower/tractor, I thought myself, no way. 😂 But you both have proven yourself to truly be homesteaders. I've so enjoyed watching you transform your property into a homestead. I'm now a 61 year-old somewhat disabled school teacher who if given a do over in life would life would love to try my hand at living off grid as a full-time homesteader. Well done Kramers! Well done.

  22. Wow, a lot has gone on whilst I was too busy myself, well done!! Your work shows, and your plans are great, thank you for sharing.

  23. I think you I think you’re doing a great job you’re just learning as you go, you are doing an excellent job

  24. Hey you guys!! This is just great – inspiring for sure! We bought a 62 acre island on a lake in the wilderness of British Columbia last summer – we are building it up and loving every second! The adventure of a lifetime… We'd love to have you guys on one of our livestreams to visit!
