I’ve always hear them called datura, jimsonweed, or thorn apple as the common name, but yeah looking into it these guys are right on with Detura Ferox. Pretty much every part of that plant is toxic to ingest for people and animals due to high levels of alkaloids. Pretty flowers and seed pods though!

*Datura ferox* or possibly *Datura quercifolia*, although difficult to tell without pictures of the whole plant, as they both have got relatively the same seedpods. Poisonous, although it has got some medicinal potential, check r/datura FAQ for more information.
Also I find it hilarious that this community goes batshit whenever they hear the word ‘datura’ which isn’t jackshit in terms of toxicity to other commonly used ornamental plants
