Ummm hmm. I have spent $130+ in fertilizer, containers, soil, compost, my next repellants and plants. 3 mos later, am still starving, have only harvested like 8 cherry tomatoes, 5 peppers and 2 strawberries. 😂😂 Watering alone has cost me a ton of time. Not sure this works, esp buying all the soil amendments like worm castings and Bone meal. I will say what I have grown has been DELICIOUS!!! But yeah the people buying raised beds and organic soils rather than building their own beds are certainly losing money.
I belong to the community garden at Clark Botanic garden Long Island ny. Paradise. Got my 20 yr old daughter addicted to growing from seeds. It’s a miracle every time. Every neighborhood should have a community garden.

Yes they have ability to grow their own food. But the people who don't have any house what they should do? Can you give them some area?ans: no. There are other factor as well. Appreciate your hardworking though ❤

It's can already tax anything you grow, and govenors like Michigan can and do make it illegal to grow your own food
When you live in an extremely windy , salt air place it’s hard to grow anything
