Be ready to hear how bad tilling is for your soil…

Awesome! I used a similar piece of equipment when I first started out. I have since moved on to a tractor pulled John Deere 1010 field cultivator for row crops as we have expanded significantly.

Though as another poster here pointed out, be prepared for some folks to be butt hurt over mechanized agriculture. Pay them no mind. Unless they are buying your seed/fertilizer, planting your crops, and providing your labor then they have zero right to tell you how to work your land.

I got that Champion at the begining of summer. Its a frigging workhorse. I used it to create a 32×36′ garden out of solid clay. It chomped right through it. I tilled it 4 times before it was ready to plant. That no till methid might wirk in the nirthwest, but its a joke in the southeast. Good luck.

Home Depot sells their rentals, which are always in great shape. I bought a Honda mid-tine earlier in the summer for around $400

Nice! Mine still says that it “should arrive by August 2nd”, lol. Glad to see that they actually exist and to be fair, it’s still way to hot here to use it anyway.

Mine shipped over a week ago and I’ve heard nothing since. Called HD and they said I’d get a call from the carrier to set up delivery. Did it come on a tommy gate trick or something?
