The hosta is the surviving 1/3 of a larger plant that someone apparently ripped out of a planter for funsies. Only had 6 or 8 thicker roots all about a 1/2″ long left on it after dividing it from the mangled part. The roots are definitely growing welll currently. For the first week i gave it a tiny bit of rooting hormone and a drop of liquid fertilizer in its daily water changes.

The Drama Lily is from a larger plant i divided earlier this year. The full plant seamed to have a split personality and it turned out to have 2 different soils in the pot. 2 of the 7 still have weak roots, but this one just wouldn’t stand up in its pot anymore. I think its starting new roots…. maybe?
