A supervisor at work gifted me this plant that fell off her tree when it was uprooted. I really want to make sure it grows but unsure how to properly care for it in its current state.
Any advice?
Also, what type of plant is it? Lol

Update: I have removed it from water and letting it dry it. It was in the water for about… 2 minutes or so
It’s a plumeria cutting!
I have no solid advice because I’ve tried 3 times to root them & failed 3 times. If you look on YouTube, you’ll find several native Hawaiian channels with really good tips
Yeah let it dry out first. May be better to chop it into a few smaller cuttings. That’s a lot of top for new roots to grow and support. Sandy soil. Don’t overwater it. Lots of direct sunlight. May act deciduous depending on your climate.
i used succulent/cactus soil and water it when the soil is totally dry. it thats a fresh cutting, let it callus over for a few days before trying to root it.
