    Acid whey is good fertilizer for acid loving plants but I’ve never seen it used as a foliar spray.

    Fully separated whey is resistant to new bacteria since all the lactose has already been consumed. And what he said about whey contamination in water ways is true, it’s part of the dark side of cheesemaking. Still not sure about it as a foliar spray but I make enough cheese in the fall/winter I might check it out

    Wouldn’t it stink in the heat? I’m gonna stick with my composting and regular feeding.

    You could make a case for feeding your soil with this but harmful fungus will benefit more than the plant as a foliar spray…
