  1. AMAZING! I learned so much Tony! Keeping this in my backpocket for when I have a yard in the future. I got to say, I love your editing and content style! Keep it up! πŸ₯³

  2. Wow great job, Tony! You are truly talented! So detail oriented! Looking forward to future videos πŸ™‚

  3. I have strangely similar pre-renovation landscape but haven't been brave enough to tackle it haha. Love the idea of using pots, easily swapping design in the future. And those lights πŸ‘Β

    Another kill vid Tony!

  4. Hello from Australia, what an amazing transformation it looks awesome, going to aim to do the same for my own front yard, thanks for the video!

  5. The only thing I saw that may be of a concern was that you have covered up with soil your foundations slab 😳.

Also a sphere outdoor water fountain would also look amazing in your landscape.

  6. The tallest pot plant is an annual. What plant is it & are your planters made for -15 to -25 degrees? If not those plants won’t survive winter

  7. Great job! You gave me ideas that I can use in the future like the lighting and border you created. I too like the minimalist, clean modern look. Thank you!

  8. I like how you did your borders. I’m thinking of something very similar. Thanks! 😊

  9. Wow! very pretty, sleek and modern. Lots of hard work even tho you made it look easy! New subscriber.

  10. Set up some drip line irrigation with a timer to all your pots to save worrying about when to water ( and if you forget…πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ) Lovely job

  11. Beautifully done. Next time you work on pots, you might want to go ahead and fill up the pot with potting soil and not use the stone/plastic bottle fillers. Reason being that the plants will grow better and more likely make it through your zone 5 arctic winters! πŸ₯ΆπŸ˜Š

  12. I love the simplicity and clean look, which is what I want for my backyard. I'm sharing with my sister since she loves simple and not hard work. Thank you.

  13. I love the clean look of your design. The only thing I would say to you if you want your plants to overwinter outside in those pots is to line the inside of the planters with something that will keep the frost out. Otherwise the planter will freeze the soil and kill your plant roots. I’m speaking from experience πŸ˜‰

  14. as a landscaper and container garden enthusiast, i was intrigued. while the design isn't my aesthetic, it's clean and low maintenance. however, the containers, it seems to have gone wrong from go. the tall containers can be a bit techy but none the less, adding the plastic bottles and the landscape fabric isn't recommended. anytime one is planting in a container, the only medium to use is potting soil. it helps hold water keeping roots moist, more importantly, it's lighter and allows roots to grow through. the issues with land based soils, like sod soil, it's dense and while it holds moisture, it will eventually lead to root rot killing all the plant material. containers should have proper drainage at the base, air flow underneath so water doesn't stagnate and back up into the soil, and should be soil top to bottom. if gravity is a concern, adding broken concrete and a few larger stones is ok, but using fabric, logs, or plastic is about as much damage as one could add to ensure failing plants.

  15. I love it! Nice, clean and modern. Great job! πŸ‘ŒπŸ» I’d love to know more about the plants you used (ex: names, growing zones, flowering or not, evergreen or not, deciduous or not…) Would also love an update on your thoughts around the solar lighting, as they can be tricky sometimes. They tend to be dull. Again, great job!

  16. The detail and panning shots are cool. But it would be nice to see some wide shots to understand the curb view as well.

  17. I love what you did it ready changed the approach to modern. Your next task is get rid of the outdated wrought iron on the front stoop with a sleek cable railing and banister. Thank you for your design.

  18. I love the design ! Also the lighting gave me ideas, can't wait til the next video. I'm in texas, so a different climate.
