Follow along with me as I work in the garden. Now that the season is changing it gives me the opportunity to reflect on the beauty and changes of my space. Garden maintenance and design offer a multitude of benefits that extend beyond the aesthetic appeal of a well-kept outdoor space. Engaging in regular garden maintenance tasks such as pruning, weeding, and watering not only helps to keep plants healthy and flourishing but also provides an opportunity for physical activity and connection with nature. By spending time outdoors tending to the garden, individuals can enjoy the fresh air, soak up vitamin D from the sun, and experience a sense of relaxation and tranquility. Additionally, the creative aspect of garden design allows for self-expression and personalization of outdoor spaces. Whether designing a vibrant flower bed, a serene meditation area, or a sustainable vegetable patch, cultivating a garden fosters a sense of pride and accomplishment. Furthermore, gardens provide important habitats for wildlife, attracting various species of birds, butterflies, and beneficial insects. This promotes biodiversity and contributes to the health of ecosystems. Overall, garden maintenance and design offer a fulfilling and rewarding experience that nurtures both body and soul, fostering a deeper connection with the natural world and enhancing the beauty and functionality of outdoor spaces. It’s nice to see a smiling face and someone enjoying cooler weather. Yes, season change is tough on everything. My poor plants down here just bake and fall over even when watered.
I like to change my seasons inside. Decor for one. Change AC filter. Be careful any thing slithering in those vines on the ground. You are doing a good job!!!!
Depending on the plant, sometimes I can bring them inside for the winter. Finding the space can be a challenge since they need sun. So I even look to placing them in bedrooms!!
Good idea of moving the plants around. When I do clusters of potted plants or even in decorating I display them in clusters of odd numbers 3, 5, 7 makes the arrangement pop!!
