First off, FLOWERS! I’ve had this cactus (at least pups from the main cactus that has perished, unfortunately) for a little over 20 years and this is the first time I’ve ever seen buds and flowers! Moved to a warmer climate and these seem to have enjoyed the change!
Second, curious as to what kind of cactus this is. My 6th grade science teacher gave pups out to his students every year and I snagged some. Never knew what kind of cactus it was. Story goes that he was somewhere in the southwest (in the US) and he found a cactus on the side of the road and took it with him.
