I have a tabletop hydroponic system (LetPot brand). It’s a mix of pepper plants and salad greens.

As you can see, many of the plants have grown so high that they are pressing against the lights (which are at maximum height). Some of the pepper plants have now grown around the system and are growing on top of the lights. I would assume (maybe I’m wrong?) they won’t survive because they won’t get enough light/heat.

I have pruned several lower leaves/branches as the plants grew. Do I now need to start just chopping off the tops? Will that hurt/kill the plants?

I do NOT want to transfer any of the plants to their own pots/system. Too complicated and too much work.

Many thanks!

Pepper plants get way to big for this system.
