Oh geeze, they stabbed INTO the plant? Idiots. Just put some powdered cinnamon in the wound. Neem oil is for pests, not damaged plants.
ETA: these are fun plants! I love mine. I had to repot it this summer as it had grown.

Probably someone who isnt paid enough to care. I am pretty sure no one really asked for having such a label on plants. You are better off creating something better for labeling.
Based on the text on the 2nd image you could ask for a refund just to send them a message how much quality and effort they put into this.
