Bought a place about a year ago. First pic is then, second pic is when we finished it a few months ago. Pulled up about half the patio, regraded the compacted dirt down by like 3 inches by hand, and used some reclaimed cedar from a friend to make a planter box, among other things.

Also, help me convince my wife to get a flamethrower for the weeds poking up in the brick patio….

But did you clean your eaves..?

I’d pressure wash the pavers, using a surface cleaner first, then throw down some bleach on them (using a garden/chemical sprayer bottle). The pressure washer wand should take care of the weeds too, if there isn’t too much of a gap, otherwise there will be a lot of dirt flying back in your face. Concerning PPE (wear protective eyewear).

    An attempt was made….

But in reality on the surface it looks like a bang up job. Maybe a little too much aggregate in that back area for my tastes but as long as you don’t have kids or dogs it should be fine.

Sorry but I can’t accommodate your request. I like it a lot. 👍

  5. That Arson felony count coming back to haunt you?
