Hi All,
I am looking to remove the lavender plants in the front garden bed and I have a few dead plants on the side garden bed in this picture.
I’m in Melbourne and:
1) I’m looking for something low maintenance (minimal watering, pruning etc.)
2) I’d love something that doesn’t grow too high for the front, as the current plants obstruct the bottom of the window.
3) I don’t want to have to re-plant anything (i.e. pants that only last 1 year)
4) If there’s something that has flowers, (even if small and not many) that would be nice, but I understand these plants are probably going to need more maintenance.
I understand I’m probably asking for quite a few conflicting requirements here, but hoping someone might have some good suggestions on what I could plant in the front and along the side? I intend to keep the surviving agave plants (they perfectly fit my low maintenance criteria haha).
I was thinking there might be some nice looking succulents that would survive Melbourne winter, of perhaps some natives.
