When actively growing, they like quite a bit of water. I leave mine outside to take winter rains, but if it’s dry I’ll water them every four days or so, fertilizing them every other. Bright direct unfiltered sun is best, but you’ll want to try and keep the caudex covered or it’ll bleach a gross grey color. It’ll do well with a trellis or something to climb too.
