They say ashes from wood is good for worms. Put in dirt before you plant.
I always love a garden update! Glad y'all's garden has been productive this year. Can't say the same for most of mine, but I've at least got a few types of mint to work with. We recently made a watermelon salad with some of it. If you're feeling crafty, it might be worth a shot. I'd never had watermelon salad before, but the melon pairs shockingly well with a balsamic-based dressing and a bit of cheese. It's a delightfully summery dish and you can use basil instead of mint. We tried it with a strawberry balsamic and a lemon balsamic and both were hits.
Glad to see the Lego hive thriving too. It's truly payoff for all the work y'all have put in.
Lots of love from somewhere else in Missouri.
Yes! Save the bees! So glad they called and didnt just keep logging, or otherwise destroy it.
20:21 ….shows lots of crazy excess combing….. I have lots or probably more…BUT as for my Venus 🐝’s I prefer removing/training comb to mostly on the inside mostly with no cross comb…comb on the tops..sides of frames &/or anywhere else.
I noticed several frames in this like that not including the wild comb…..looks like some comb removal may happen for this apiary/channel if it also seeks mostly framed comb.

I just viewed an interesting YT video about insect bathroom habits (specifically No. 2). It starts off with Bees and then moves on to other insects. All interesting. It is put out by WATOP and is titled "Why Do Insects Die When They Poop." It is a misleading title as they don't perish. But it is interesting. I thought you might like to know about the Bees. I was unaware. The Bees are amazing (as usual).
THANK YOU for being so incredibly gracious with my fan girl kids who recognized you during your shopping trip today. You totally made their week!

Recommend different sized branches for them to roost/climb onto. It promotes foot health and will help with the one's foot curling issues by allowing him to utilize different sizes and different strengths as a form of PT for the foot.
Awesome video!!! And you're garden is doing really great 👍🏼❤
I'm so sorry for the bees hopefully there okay🙂
The birth of the little bee was really cool
oregeno will spread and take over the bed
Dlllll
The baby bee girl was the best one!!! But my small advise is be careful using too much music minor scale in background, your homestead is a happy place and when you add too much minor it's turns depressing than sentiments. That's what Art and Brie where doing and I never had chance to message them.Use music in major scale and then break in minor when you wanna underline special moment.
you should leave the box for a few hours. That was not enough time at all.
It seems like you weren’t concerned about saving them per se but getting another hive for yourself.
Thank you so much to the entire family who work on the beehives in their own way, whether it’s helping to build Lego frames, or painting, or actually putting on a bee suit, etc., And helping to preserve the bees, which all of the snow or in jeopardy of extinction in some areas of the US. I am so proud of you for not only doing all of jazz, but for teaching your children about the importance of protecting the bees, and how to care for them.
I have a sister who has begun harvesting her own honey for the last two years and it is excellent quality honey. I am a cancer survivor and I make a Wonderful natural salad dressing out of honey, lemon juice and the extra virgin olive oil.😊♥️😊♥️😊♥️😊♥️😊♥️
Prior to my sister providing me with excellent honey, I had trouble buying a Honey that I really liked and ended up, giving a lot of it away until she began harvesting her own honey. Your family has more B stations than she does, and she still has to work extra hard to harvest the honey that she does and yes it’s messy and sticky but the end product is so worth it❣️❣️❣️
Thank you to any, and all be keepers to protect them and supply housing and food that is safe for them, so that we do not lose our bees that are so necessary to pollinate our fruit trees and our gardens and the beautiful flowers at Cetera. We have all come to love and enjoy❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️🌈♥️😊
I love the whole video!
The lego hive is so cool! It is my second year beekeeping and wow is it ever a journey. Lots of hard sweaty work but rewarding. This year was my 1st year harvesting some honey and it was delicious! I cant have as many hives as I would like since I am in the suburb with less room but I wish I could have unlimited..Maybe one day. I love your channel!
Nice video. Hope the new bees will survive and succeed.
Maggots are indeed a problem after relocation of bees. Dead or crushed brood easily attract flies. While attaching combs to frames a little of such crushing of brood always takes place, but bees often remove the dead brood. The newly captured colony must be given limited comb at first so that the bees completely cover the comb. Flies can easily enter bee boxes but a stron curtain of bees covering the comb can stop the flies.
loved watching the baby bee emerging 😍
Fabulous video. Thanks so much. Makes me wonder if I could keep bees. Always wanted to. Hello from South Africa 🇿🇦
😉👍
The new bees emerging was amazing
I enjoy watching your videos.
I just wondering about the switching around the frames from other hives to your new ones. I can understand giving the bees some comb and brood but would they acceot brood from another queen?
I think you heard lightning in 2:45
