First time planting cantaloupe, 4 plants zone 6b. I picked 14 today, a total of 21 so far and lots more out there. Very prolific!

Beautiful! I bet your house smells great.

What will you do with all of those?

Very jealous. My cantaloupe failed this year 🙁 The backyard cantaloupe were something so special last season. Congrats and enjoy!

I planted 1 little seedling and last time I looked I had 20 full size but not quite ripe melons out there.

  4. My cantaloupe is shit this year. Just a couple soft ball size melons from 4 plants. Last year was much better. What variety did you plant?

Omg, I’m so jealous. My cantaloupe plants were a complete failure this year!

Wow, how do you do it? My cantaloupes make 1 fruit each, and once l pick it they try to make more but by that time it’s already getting colder and those are never good.

Maybe the soil?? Melons in general are heavy feeders- so either fertilize and amend the soil when you plant and/or feed em’ good after.
