    I finally lost my one leek. Without rain and all this heat, I'm slowly losing every one of my plants except the ones under 90% shade cloth. I would like to know the difference between first early, second early, and main crop potatoes. Enjoy those potatoes. Even a few adds to the pot.

    Thanks Ivan for update, mine seem to be doing well the green looks healthy I kept them outdoors but sheltered from rain, as I planted late I have still 3 weeks that is if 17 weeks is enough , will you plant again for Christmas,, x

    Thats more than enough for a meal there m8. Cracking effort from a 10 litre pot. 👏👍
    I emptied a bucket of Kestrel, a green potato grow bag thing of Kind Edwards and the big one, 75 litre dustbin of Maris Pipers. I was well happy with the results. Also emptied a 10 litre pot of carrots, again, very pleased with the results.
    Im already looking forward to next season as I'm in the process of converting an area of bramble bushes behind and outside of the house into a mini allotment. Ive got 1 area about 8ft Square I've made a mini raised bed/no dig bed ready to go already. Another area 20ft by 10ft has been cut, covered wirh cardboard and just waiting for the rest of my crops to finish so I can reuse the soil as the 'base filler' for that 'bed'.
