Heres my first terrarium and the first time I’ve ever had healthy plants of any kind. It’s got a couple of store plants and some remant of cushion moss from the store that hasn’t been happy.

As I got going, I realized I hadn’t.ever considered moss beyond the “protoplant” impression. Diploid haploid cycle… wow?!?

The other 3 (4?) moss species were collected from the wild. The first patch of moss was ignorantly taken from some drainage rocks next to a building, and sadly their holes are still absent 3 weeks later. I learned my lesson and have collected with much more care.

The 3 pictures are (1) Planting (2) +2 weeks and the sad cushion moss
(3) 4 weeks total + new moss species (sustainably) found today!
