Should I chop and prop this? And if I do can y’all please recommend at which numbered line that I make my cut at? Or should I let it grow more. Last pic is when I first got it last sept. Thank you!

Just give it a pole for support and try and rotate it more frequently

Chopping it is personal preference so if you want to chop you certainly can

I think it is good to do at least one prop of expensive plants just in case anything happens to the first one. It is certainly not a must though. And if you do, I would go a bit higher, point 6, so you don’t lose too much growth on the mother plant

  4. Try air layering. You can buy some air layering balls, make your own, or if you have a 3D printer like me you can print them.

I always air layer my plant, wrap all the roots in moss and Saran Wrap or poke them into bags full of moss (or soil, or stratum, etc). Then it will root while still connected to the plant. Once your bags or wrap have nice visible roots, cut the plant apart and pot up your rooted cuttings.

You don’t lose any to rot, the process is extremely fast, your new growth comes out faster, your plant grows significantly faster during this process and you end up with a huge top cut to keep for yourself.

Repot your top as your beautiful plant, keep the butt with as many nodes as it takes to have the uppermost growth point over the best variegation you can find.
