I’m thinking of adding a misting system to my 40 gallon vivarium. I want to go with a mist king, but I’m nervous that it will leak or dump the entire reservoir into the tank and flood it.
Has anybody had poor experiences with a mist king system? Are they pretty safe or have you experienced any leaks or failures? Any input would be much appreciated.

Mist king is the only thing I use. I have had reptirain and other misters. The mistking is literally king of the misters. As long as you set it up correctly it will not have any issues. I use the rain attachment on some of my enclosures and that thing is awesome. Look up reviews most breeders and reptile stores, even zoos recommend them.
