These new chairs at the front are looking beautiful and they suit this area so much better than the black ones. I would relocate the " old' grey chairs " though and create another sitting area somewhere else on the other side , they look out place now , next to the new ones – but if you need more sitting I would add two more with the diamond pattern, and a bit bigger table – the scale doesn't feel right…And of course the stairs at the back are looking stunning ! 🙂 It's so exciting to watch the transformation process … So much has been achieved already.
Make an outdoor smoothie bar or any bar and pizza grill of stone too if you like, would be super cozy!
With the mulch that the raised beds sit on you should consider wheels not casters for those to allow them to roll properly.
The new chairs look good, they just look very new next to the older chairs 😋😎
I think the chairs match perfectly with the colors of your raised bed and trim. Everything looks great.
I associate apples for September for decorating and eating.
Love the chairs! I actually like the subtle color. It's very soothing and in keeping with the color scheme you already have going on your house. Nice choice.
Wow, looks so great!!❤❤🎉
Most of my 35 year teaching career was spent in second grade. I refer to that level as the utopia of teaching, so many developmental and interesting things happen at that age and yet most of the kids are still pretty innocent and excited. One important September highlight for me was Johnny Appleseed's birthday, September 26. As a folk legend he was a marvelous model of selflessness and courage, although a bit of a "character". Having said that, cooking in the classroom that month was always centered around apples. You might consider including them in your dinner party. There's such a long list of possibilities to choose from—crisps, cakes, pies, cider (fresh or mulled), sauces, dips, etc.
Whatever you present to your guests will be wonderful, but please consider that good old American apple. 😊
Could you paint the utility boxes a brown color to blend in with the brick?
I think Soft Carress Mahonia would work well to mask your gas meter!
Two things I wonder about: your side door/can you explain if it functions. I must've missed that part. Also, the plumbing clean out at the base of your swooping staircase. I assume it stays & you'll camouflage with shrubbery? Please address. Thank you. Love watching your project develop.
Everything is looking so GOOD. Love the new chairs, they look nice mixed with the old ones. Especially if the bench on the porch stays, it will all tie together. Iḿ still blown away by the all the creative brick work, it is so unique and beautiful!!
Lovely garden, but where is sweet Stuart?
Just sand and seal your bench at front door and the two chairs at your cocktail patio and they will blend with the new chairs you bought
Love it 🥰
Your Dream came true! I Just Love It!
❤ things are looking spectacular just love that rug and all that surrounds it ! we just need to see beyond what is taking place but the gentleman are doing an awesome job with the brick the steps look stately❤ just be careful walking around. Have a blessed weekend. Thank you once again.
I love the new chairs in the front along with the back stairs. The chairs just blend in so well.
The chairs are nice, I like the older chairs better. It seems like to many chairs, cluttered looking with the two styles. I enjoy your updates also, amazed at the garden growth. Also your voice is soothing to me, some other utube gardeners aren’t. Keep up the good work Linda, you can tell you love your garden. 🪴
Would your older chairs work into the other side near the bird bath? Might make a nice balance and a sweet spot for a quiet sit. Love how it's all coming together.
You may have said and I’ve missed it. Approximately what size is the back brick patio.
I love how the chairs blend in and the fact that they don’t jump out at you. I also love the black chairs in the back and how they blend with the fence.
I just have to say the white shade in your bathroom does not look bad. If you forget to pull it up it is not intrusive at all!
love the new chairs. the cushions match the window box. better than the black ones which look good in the back. no black blind. looks super heavy from the outside.
Brick facing on the back steps is truly magnificent, Linda. Your masons are outstanding. Perhaps one of the new pointed top box woods would be nice in front of the gas meter. The back is really coming together quickly. You may want to consider an awning over the window also. It will prevent the rain from hitting the glass and allow you to open the windows on a rainy day in good weather.
The gray chairs are perfect for the front. If you choose to keep the other two in that space a coat of paint would help them blend in. Everything is looking so good. Hard to believe it’s only been months.
Fabulous steps! Love how they look like wood slices!
Your vision and design is amazing and inspiring.
It’s been a real education for me to see how the new landscape has performed. The new chairs are lovely. I’m already wondering whether the squirrels will leave your pumpkins alone this year:)
I love your patio chairs and couldn't help but notice how they even blend with your neighbor's house across the street 🙂 Everything looks beautiful! Well done!
Love the new chairs in front! To my eye, they blend & “soften” the social patio just a touch….welcoming!
