  1. This year has been rubbish. My brussel sprouts are just about destroyed I don't think I can save them. Cabbage whites got in one corner, wind attacked the other side, and they're just in a terrible state. Bleh to this year! My cucumbers are doing well as well though, probably because they're in my tiny green house! I've had to just harvest the rest of my potatoes too. They're small but okay. I think it's all a lack of proper sun. I hope your cabbage and other veg does well. Tell you what, one thing doing really well are my leeks!

  2. The reason why the cucumber plant is dying off is because you left the cucumber on it too long. Once the cucumber starts to turn yellow, it sends a message to the plant to die off.

  3. Thanks for the update Ivan. Happy birthday, for tomorrow hope you have a lovely day. Thanks for sharing.

  4. Peppers wants to touch hands. The peppers closer together does visibly better. The one pepper close to the ground looks like it's sun scold. Usually it's the part facing the sun that start to turn yellow brown and then turn soft to eventually rot. Mulch the soil so that the roots of the plants do not overheat in the sun. Love your channel. God bless.

  5. I started garnening for the first time in June this year. I sowed seeds for beetroots and spring onions in June, later sowed more beetroot seeds, silverskin onion seeds, loads of carrot seeds and savoy cabbage seeds. The cabbages died, but everything else is looking very good so far. i replaced the cabbage space with little gem seeds and I have already started harvesting the leaves. Happy birthday for tomorrow, mate.

  6. Thanks so much Ivan for the advice with CalMag etc. My tomatoes seem to have recovered from blossom end rot and are ripening slowly.

  7. Hope my carotts are as good as those lol, they're not ready yet though, can't believe we're in the middle of August it's flown by …

  8. Thanks Ivan, this was a brilliant update but I'd cut open one of those peppers to see what's inside it. The carrot looked really good. Have a very Happy Birthday tomorrow mate. Take care and all the very best. Stevie
