The easiest way might be to lay down some two by fours and then lay plastic on the two by fours so it makes kind of a lip all the way around and leave the edge that would drip off the porch onto the grass, so that as you water, it would only run down that area. I don’t know if that makes sense lol.

I got a waterproof ourdoor curtain, folded the hanging tabs under, and laid it underneath my planter so the planter is holding it down. No drips and it looks like a decorative rug.

We once had water proof outdoor mats that we put under the plants. A little pricey but it still looks nice.

For the smaller containers, go to a thrift store and get some cheap plates and cooking trays and set the pots on those. For the big box planter, maybe build a tray under it out of 2x4s and some plastic/plywood with a lil bit of sand or gravel to catch the draining water

Trays under your plants. Will also protect your deck and it helps your plant re absorb any nutrients leaking out of the bottom with the water.

And you can get big flat trays to use for the big planter. Probably use the trays they use for seedings as they come in larger sizes and hold water. You can put rocks in it to stop the wind from blowing it away and create a little bee watering station out of it . Paint the rocks bright colours to attract the bees to the water and make sure the rocks are fully submerged so bees have a dry place to sit while they sip
