    As for guest posting, if I guest post on someone else’s blog do I need to be in the same niche as they are?

    I'm trying to decide the best content strategy as I build out my site's topical authority. Should I focus first on creating 4-5 pillar posts that cover the main topics in-depth? Or would it be better to start with lots of articles around subtopics and related keywords?

    What do you think – is it better to kick things off with those foundational pillar posts to establish authority on the core topics? Or is it more effective to build up a wider base of related content right away?

    You missed out a few vital core pages. Privacy policy, terms & conditions, cookie policy. Without a privacy policy you won’t get approved for any ad networks, if you go that route. Without a cookie policy there is the potential to get sued. These policy pages are trust signals and without them your site will struggle to traction, not saying it won’t but is harder without them. I use wpx hosting and it really is the best, in fact I have found across my sites I don’t need to use wp rocket because the hosting is so good.
