Adding more info: Have had for a couple months. It doesn’t get much sunlight as I work in an office. However it was thriving for a while and grew a new sprout…

Looks to be underwatered based on the thinness of the leaves, they would usually store water in them and a good way to tell when to water succulents is when the leaves start wilting and thinning

I’m still fairly new to being able to keep succulents alive but some of the ones I accidentally killed looked like this when they got root rot (may all of them rest in peace😭)

Could be either. Stick your finger in the soil and find out.

When succulents are in need of water their leaves usually crinkle, when too much they tend to get mushy – please excuse my terminology haha

I’m sorry but like the other person replied, this plant is long gone. And you need drainage holes for every single plant. I’d recommend following their advice about getting one that can survive low light, like a philodendron. But still getting a grow light as you’re in an office. I am deeply sorry though, I know exactly what this feels like. Good luck with your next plant baby.❤️

Drainage will kill the succulent if you’re overwatering them and the roots get wet for so long

It has to have a drainage hole! And lots of light, as in on a window sill. You can’t water on a schedule, but if I had to give it a time frame, it should be at least 2 weeks between watering.
This one has rotted from overwatering, is not getting enough light, and is beyond saving. Sorry.

Succulents are always overwatered imo. I’ve killed 3 plants that look like this one. They love to be neglected 😂
