Neighbor liked how green and weed-free my tall fescue grass is on my yard, which it has stayed that way using a combo of Tenacity and Prodiamine. He asked me to treat his yard the same.
Pic 2 is the part of my yard that touches his, and pic 3 is his lawn currently (1 week after spraying).
Should I be concerned, or shrug it off?

When your lawn is all crabgrass and you spray Tenacity, it kills everything.
Yes, big mistake. Tell him someone else’s lawn is a job. Yours is a hobby, so you could never provide the same kind of passion.
Yards are long-term. Not going to be fixed in a week. Trust the process you got this!
Looks like he has a different grass type, that could be the issue.
What lawn?
Give it some water and watch it come back to life. Did similar at my new place and was finally starting to see a change, but we’re in a drought and have a water conservation ordnance until October I believe.
And teach him – advise him on ways to make it look great next spring.
Pee off the porch!
I’ll bet your neighbor is glad he asked for *your* help. Lol!
Try to turn it into a situation where you help him get started. Offer to share resources or even some of your time to help him get started. Remind him when he should start adjusting for colder weather, etc.
And (as we all learn over at r/homeowners) don’t forget to fuck his wife.
quick thing
1. Unless you have taken & passed a pesticide exam/charter, it’s very likely that applying any chemicals to any property that is not your own is illegal.
This looks like cut and dry tenacity on Bermuda, very little crab here (tf @ these comments?). Itl look ugly for a few weeks, but you wont/can’t kill that Bermuda, just damage to current growth. Few weeks, itl grow thru and the bleached tips will be a distant memory after a cut. Lesson learned.
His lawn isa huge amount of weeds. Hes aware you are killing off nearly all his lawn right?
I mean I think this is fine, he just needs to know he has to do a massive overseed this fall.
Now is the time to upsell him.
Good god that’s the worst looking bermuda I’ve seen next to my neighbors burnt up shit he doesn’t even water. Just tell your neighbor to mow it every couple of days and water it 1.5” a week
