So my wife filled a kiddie pool up with a 50lb bag of corn for our little girls party…well long story short, a couple pounds or so ended up in our nice Zoysia grass and it got run over by the mower…now we have sprouts of corn coming up!! 🙇‍♂️ What can I spray that kills corns but not grass?!? Any other way I should remedy this issue?!? Thanks in advance!!

  1. I don’t know how many sprouts we’re talking but I think after a few mows it should die out.

I had the same issue but with birdseed. The squirrels like the corn, and dig out the other seed and throw it in my garden/yard. Had to start putting down preemergent around the bird feeder once a month!

I can’t help, but I’m curious what recreational purpose a pool full of corn serves. lol.

Done this once. It can’t tolerate mowing at all

This is your chance to teach your kids how to garden. Plant those three sisters and reseed after the harvest.

I would personally just pick them by hand, doesn’t look like too many

Slowly raise your mower blade until you’re knee high by 4th of July.

Haha but seriously just mow it and it will die.

Let it grow, apply for farm status, get the tax credit

When life gives you corn, make moonshine.

That stuff is roundup resistant. Bet it’s resistant to broadleaf herbicide too. Mow around it you can have fresh corn.
