I’ve been at this for a while and I still use that thread for questions, mostly because I know that I’ll get replies from more experienced folks. On a main post, you might get inexperienced people, or even complete randos commenting.
Besides, complex questions are usually either very technical topics, or ones where you’d want multiple viewpoints. Not something you’ll be coming up against soon.
