Like ko rin and Bonsai .. super cute..😊
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Karamihan nawiling magtanim during the quarantine. Mostly ay indoor plants or succulent at ornamental plants. Growing our own garden helps us eat more fresh vegetables/fruits aside from it is thrifty. It is also a great stress reliever as having plants around our home brings positive energy and helps us feel secure and relaxed amidst the pandemic.

Nice and beautiful plants.
Wow!!!!! You did an awesome job, Rodel!
Thank you so much for featuring Munting Taniman, Watch SM! 💖🌱
Ang gandaa ng mga halaman😍😍😍
Thank you Rodel for sharing all the plantita/plantito great finds at SM.
Nag start ako with veggies like Kangkong, okra and kamatis. #PlantFestAtSM

My own PLANTITA story:
I was never interested in gardening up until Pandemic came. My lola has a mini garden that surrounds our house and she tends it morning and afternoon. Day by day she inspired me by how meticulous and caring she is to the plants and that made me curious and did start my plantita journey💚 My first task was to replant our plant that needed a bigger pot. After a few weeks I was elated that when I did move them to a bigger pot they bloom and strive much better! Second I decided to plant vegetables that I got from the LGU for free! I planted lettuce, pechay, mungbeans etc. I found myself excited whenever they sprouted, all the sweat from tending them was all worth it! For me being a plantita is a blessing and very therapeutic and everyone should start their own journey!💚💚💚 *all mechanics done! Liked and subscribed 💯🤞

My plantito story started way before the pandemic, seeing them grow day by day feels like an achievement, and just having them in my room makes me feel calm and relaxed.

Your right Sir Rodel malaki talaga ang naitutulong ng plants on our mental, physical and emotional health just like me and my kids because of lockdown I rarely go out pag may mga important errands lang talaga ako nakakalabas lahat na ata ng pwedeng gawin inside our home ginawa na namin naging baker, sewer and of course one of the most favorite things na nadiscover ko is I have a green thumb pala first my husband bought me a succulents at first gusto ko lang sila dahil sobrang cute nila and then I notice na it's been a week na and they're growing that I have to propagate and replanted them na iba yung feeling yung happiness na makita mo silang dumadami and one day I just see myself na I'm talking to them 😁 hanggang sa unti-unti ng dumadami yung mga plants ko but we don't have enough space kasi maliit lang ang house namin kaya yung iba sa house ng parents ko.We also plants vegetables like kamatis, sili, kalamansi, pechay at talong and thankfully namumunga naman silang lahat. It's a big help for me and to my family na may mga plants kami aside from therapeutic ang mga ito we save money kasi we don't have to buy those vegetables na in our mini garden meron na kami ng mga ito plus it's very refreshing iba yung nabibigay nito sa ating kalusugan.Kaya I myself proud to be a plantita sobrang daming benefits ang nabigay nito sa akin at sa aking pamilya.

im not the plantita myself, but i want to share my mom's sudden plantita craze.
She's always loved plants and flowers, but she's not the type to grow the plants herself. She's the type to hoard all the flower centerpieces from weddings and buy flowers from dangwa on her trips to the market. We have a small garden area by our front gate, but when i was growing up it was mostly untended with random green plants lang.
Over the last 2 years, she had a renewed interest, especially during the lockdown. She revamped the garden area – put in new tiles and planters, even had a metal rack built just to have more space. She would order plants online, get cuttings from our neighbors and even try to grow from seed herself! Now our garden is colorful and alive full of bright cheery flowers and greenery that she likes. It's nice to stand there and just look at the plants – nakakarelax!
Like most people who are trying to survive being locked down in their homes during a pandemic, I found a new hobby to immerse myself into. My heart ultimately led me to greener pastures and I became a plantita! Seeing new leaves grow gave me a new sense of happiness. Taking care of plants really shifted my outlook in life and gave a whole new meaning to it. What started as an initial distraction has now turned into a constant source of joy, peace, happiness and relaxation not only to me but also to my mom. 🌱🌿🎍💚
We never had any plant in our home not until the quarantine. My sister's officemate gave her a bonsai & a money tree when she dropped by our house to let my sister sign documents. My mom & I were so "smitten". We ordered some plants from online sellers & transfered them to colorful pots we bought online
Here's my PLANTITA STORY🌱 I started when I was younger. My parents were farmers and we would always harvest our crops for consumption. Me and my sibling would plant banana, pineapple, lansones etc. I grew up in a country side (Nagcarlan, Laguna) and our tiny house are surrounded by all the crop my parents planted! I love the time when my parents would give us the permission to harvest our fruits & vegetables because I love the fact that we eat what we work hard for. I was tasked to take care of the nearby trees while my brothers were assign to a much farther location. Now I share my memories & knowledge with my children whom also started their Plantitas journey. I love how the Pandemic taught us to take care of our surroundings more! Hoping my story will be chosen! 🤞🌱 FB: Precy Bueno-Macol
Since I was child, we always treasure of plants because it has a lot of benefits. Our family are all farmers, they brought me to rice field, create our own backyard of veggies and taking good care of flowering and landscaping plants in our home. I was taught by my parents that whatever happens, having plants is very needed. And, that is actually what happened during lockdown. Only plants gives us food, shelter and peace. We never knew this would happen but everything has a purpose. Because of pandemic, we value the importance of plants even more. We learned on how to take care of our plants just like our children. In our home, we made a huge field of different variety of plants and even made our DIY pots for our flowering plants. It gives us so much of satisfaction, freshness and serenity. I would always thank God for giving us abundant of blessings from our nature.
Since I am a kid My family really love planting Vegetables and also flowers. Our House surrounded by our favorite Flowering plants. It's our family bonding. MY father really love Orchids.😊 as much as my Mom. Mom loves defferent kind and colors of rose. Ther really care for our plant like they care for us. They always told us that " a House full of beautiful Flowers and Plant is Like a Family that Full of Happiness and Love" 😊

As a probinsyana myself ( Batangueña by blood and heart) I've grew in a family of farmers. Ever since I was a child, our backyard is full of banana and coconut trees. If ever we like to make turon or make buko salad, we will just pick it up in our yard. We also have coffee tree, when I was a child, we will pick all the coffee beans then dried it then will bring it to the market to grind it, and voila we have an instant Kapeng Barako. We also have calamansi trees ( until now) and calamias where we put it in our sinigang. Times have past and these trees were cut down so my titas and tito's can build their house with their new families. Gone are the days of harvesting fruits and veggies. Then pandemic come last year, and this plantita/plantita thing come up. At first I was hesitant to go with the trend because I doubt myself that I couldn't grow even a succulent. But with the influence of my mom and my sisters, I joined them too. Now, I have been enjoying being a plantita of about 10 indoor plants and 15 succulent plants. I also have flowering plants outside my mini garden. I plan to plant some herbal plants like mint and rosemary. Being a plantita is a great way of removing your stress and help to save our environment that's why I'm also teaching my kids how to be one. ❤️❤️❤️

thanks for the gardening essential ideas!! 🌻🪴👩🌾
Yes in making our home greener and happier 🪴🌻 Ace hardware is also my go-to store for my gardening tools! Thanks SM for having this Plant Festival.
I love plants and make me happy when I saw it in my backyard and I'm so relaxing when I sprinkle them every morning. ❤️❤️❤️
I started falling inlove with plants when I get pregnant, it was a rough time because I have to stay in bes most of the times. My mother in law introduce me to planting to kill some time whenever i felt like wanting to do something new but not tiring. So then, I started to feel the connection, that planting is a fullfilling feeling. Like somewhat satisfying and stress relieving. Now i have a numerous collection of plants and still wanting to adopt more. ❤️🥰
My Plantita story started when my friend gave me an orchid plant on my birthday. I didn't know that I have a green thumb until I purchase another flower plant for my own and it was bearing flowers beautifully. Taking care of my plants become an added activity of my everyday routine. I love watering my plants, provide sunshine, and talking to them. Currently, my plant collection was increasing because my friends and colleagues always give me indoor and outdoor plants.
Nakakawala ng stress ang pag aalaga ng halaman.. Buying cheap and good find plants is much better nakatipid kana gumanda pa ang bahay mo..
This is really amazing.A place that next to Home. As Sm abide the Government Safety Protocols, always. What an AweSM fun and learning experience to be here. 💙

So nice the plant at #sm..😍😍
This is my plantita story,
Even when I was a kid I already love planting coz our garden are full of different kinds of plants, thanks to my mom. I remember we have a flower that will only grow during summer, and I was always excited when it blooms because you will only see it once a year and the scent of it is so bango. And we also have a pineapple plant, I was really amazed how my mom was able to take care of it and make it grow. During our subject in TLE, our teacher taught us how to properly take care of a plant, as a curious and explorer I kept some seeds of our pakwan then I find some spot where I can plant it, it becomes my daily routine to water it before I go to school and after I came home from school, there are also times that I will talk to it and say "bubunga ka ha, lalaki ka ha" 😂 and luckily it happened! It grew from a seed to a small ball size pakwan, I was really really happy that time that even I was a kid I was able to make it grow, it feels like I'm watching my baby grow 😂 but to my surprise, after a few days my small pakwan didn't make it because of some uod :(( I felt sad, that's why I decided to just focus on other plants of my mom, I water them daily before I go to school, the memories are still fresh to me like it was only yesterday, oh how I want to go back from being a kid again, just worrying if my plants could make it or not.
And then this pandemic happened! A lockdown where we thought that it will only last for a week, until weeks become months, and months become a year. Now that I'm already an adult, we are not living in the house where we used to have many plants. And my mom became dedicated again at planting! Tho our house is a bit smaller compared to our house before, it didn't stop her from planting again, and now our house is loaded with strawberry plants! Thanks to our weather here at Batangas we were able to grow some strawberries 🤣 and like what I used to do when I was a kid I am helping her to take care of our strawberry plants, I ordered some fertilizers and other plant equipments through online. And now we are planning to sell some strawberry plants.😊❤️
here's my plantita story 🪴
My love for plants began when I was child, observing my mamadear (my grandmother) watering her house plants and talking to them.
When my grandma had an opportunity to buy a lot to be able to have like a greenhouse, we always go there everyday to germinate, repot, water and watch plants grow. It is very relaxing to do especially when the COVID-19 lockdown started, it served as a clear space that allowed my mind to wonder and process things. Sometimes I also work in silence, allowing my brain to think and sometimes I try to play music or podcast while repotting. Being a plantita helped me boost my mood. I even put little snake plants on our rooms kasi it's best to clean the air. I am so happy I am able to do these things, I am amazed how nature can heal both body and mind. 🌿🍃 🪴🌻
