Region: Missouri
Soil: Clay
Tree: Cloud Nine
I planted a dogwood this spring and it recently started to get some browning on the top center of the tree. It’s planted high in clay soil and I also dug extra deep and added rock as a drainage basin, and put in a non clay soil so it’s not sitting in super wet soil and getting root rot. We had a big drought until just a few days ago when got a lot of rain. I’ve been watering it all summer every couple of days when the soil around it was feeling a bit dry. As of recently it started to get the browning of leaves, I’m thinking maybe it’s a fungus? What can I do now and or into the fall/next spring to help it out?
Thanks
