  1. I’m curiously watching your dahlias. We live in the Sandhills and I’ve planted a few and they are so slow to get going. This is my first growing season here so I’m not sure if it’s because of the heat or the sand or both. Please share if you learn more!

  2. I admire your adventurous goals! Cut flower gardens are so therapeutic and magnificent. I stagger the times of my plantings so there is always something blooming! Gladioli are easy and produce gorgeous blooms! Good luck!

  3. Great video!!! I enjoy the variety of videos you show. Thanks! Hopefully something grows soon.

P.S. I had the weirdest dream a couple nights ago. Our daughter Jane (13) was invited to Rosie’s birthday party. And our son Jake (15) and I were going to have a Nerf fight with your boys. I was supposed to drop off our daughter, but I couldn’t find the nerf guns and got all stressed out. So strange!!! Even stranger that I share it. 🤪

  4. Yes please keep us updated! I’m just starting my cut garden now… I need all the inspiration 💐

  5. What you is enough and your channel has always been an honest one ! I knew Lottie would show up ! She cracks me up every time 😂

  6. Erin from Floret has a show coming to the Magnolia Network, I loved her premiere episode that I watched on Discovery+. 🙂

  7. We are still in the process buying our little piece of Heaven where we can have peace and a little hobby farm. You inspire me with every little thing. I LOVE the wild looking flowers that have no order to them. God willing we will find our little piece soon 🙂

  8. I can tell you are following Laura, she is great, huh? But, I swear her secret is her consistent watering! Love your little farm and your family. Thank you for sharing. Looking forward to more about the horses.

  9. I love what you shared about it being special to you and therefore worthy of doing and sharing! That’s the attitude I’m trying to adopt too! ❤️❤️❤️

  10. You have THE BEST MUSIC!!! I listen to your channel while I’m working because your personality is encouraging to me and your music choices are awesome!!

  11. I just found your channel today! I see your in zone 8 and saw you mentioned Jess from Roots and Refuge will be moving close so was wondering where are you located? I'm in the Walterboro area of SC. Came from the Summerville/Charleston area

  12. Hello! I'm new here, and I am really enjoying your garden videos, I think what you are doing is great! I can tell from the comments that you are familiar with Jessica from Roots and Refuge, which makes me even happier because I think that Jessica and the whole channel is such an incredible place, it's such a refuge as the name suggests. Her energy through the videos brings me so much comfort 🙂
Also, I just wanted to recommend not tilling up your soil because it really disrupts the microbiome + it releases the moisture, (which are both vital for healthy soil) which all means that you are going to have to spend more time adding life and water all over again, establishing soil health, which takes a lot more time. When you don't till, the soil stays moist, the microorganisms don't die out, and your incoming plants will have a really healthy place to grow, which means that they will be overall healthier and will grow faster/bigger. I also recommend watching "Kiss The Ground" on Netflix, its a really incredible eye-opener and it talks all about regenerative agriculture, and all this that I'm talking about. Ok, my comment is getting pretty long, I just wanted to give a little bit of advice 🙂 Thanks so much! Have a lovely day 🙂

  13. I know what digging bushes out is like. This was a LOT of work! I bet you were sore for a while.

  14. So beautiful! You and your garden, your home, your property and that adorable little man that made an appearance while you were out working in that sweltering heat. Loved this!

  15. Me? I would totally have had a cool water shower often that day. Wet clothes and hair and I can handle the heat better!!😁🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
