Gardening is so relaxing I love watching the birds 😊❤
Where do you buy your solar pumps for your hummingbirds? I love watching you and your hummingbirds. Love the hummingbirds. Thank you so much for the videos.
I hope you have a wonderful week.
Good night, rest well.
❤
Have a blessed week.
I grew sungolds for the 1st time this year and love the taste!
Thanks I will be doing this today backwards planting my refrigerator needs cleaned out. I need to learn to safe old pots.
Sitting outside with morning coffee, listening to the birds sing , enjoying as much as possible the 80 degree temps (before it turns 100), as the cardinals, chickadees, doves, finches and humming birds flitter about, is always peaceful. The other day, I actually saw , for the first time, a cardinal go in the solar fountain ⛲️. Talk about being excited. He took about six sips, then flew off.
Yard so beautiful, you and Gary work so well together, it shows❤. So beautiful 😊
Your tomatoes are beautiful! Mine are starting to get blossom end rot. I hope I don't lose them all to that. We had a lot of rain the one day. 6 inches and then another 5. Don't know what to do to fix it. Nice gardens
We have a camper, I have spent the entire month of July in it. I have all with winter to stay inside
I could sit outside all day and just watch nature, its amazing!!! I hope you don't get too hot, remember to stay hydrated.
It is so relaxing to sit outside and enjoy nature. My husband goes to bed super early cause he gets up so early for work, so I have about 1.5 hours in the evening to go outside and watch the hummingbirds for about 45 minutes, then I go around back and feed the fox and watch them and all the birds in my bird garden.
I have sun sugar cherry tomatoes, and they are delicious.
Can you talk about strawberries and how to do the runners? Mine are making runners, and I am putting them plants on the runners so they root, but sure when to cut the runners.
Thank you for this early morning video! I needed a break from working in the garden.
❤😊😊❤
I love all the tomatoes still growing in the chair garden . My grandbaby girl would feast in your garden , she loves tomatoes.
My early morning garden patrol (w/ my coffee) revealed some medium sized creature (probably possum) had dug, dug, dug where ever it thought there were food scraps, digging up two of my totes, one of my raised beds. knocking over 2 or three of my planters, etc. I had two really nicely started large pots with carrot seedlings about a month old that were completely dug out and destroyed! I guess I had been lax in covering or protecting them since I have a fenced yard. OH WELL! I replanted some of the carrot seedlings in hope they would survive. Grumbling this morning!
robbie, No idea what’s going on but my tomatoes they flower and then all of a sudden they’re dying they’re not turning in the fruit. I don’t know why and I follow your method I plant the way you do. Everything you do I do and last year I had success minus a couple plants because of squirrels can I get into the bins and in a mess in the roots but I don’t know what’s going on this year my tomatoes the flowers are just shriveling up and there’s no fruit can you help me?
U are right Robbie … Ur garden is spectacular this yr…TQ 4 sharing it
In the background, behind the truck bed, what's the big tree with the bluish purple flowers?
Robbie thank you again for the video on backwards planting 🥰🥰
Thanks Robbie, I’m taking a much needed coffee break and enjoying your visit. It’s Monday morning, and warm and humid in Tucson, Arizona (zone 9b) We had our first monsoon rainstorm last night. Everything looks happy in the gardens and the chickens are exploring for any new ‘treats’ brought out with the rain. I hope we all get a reprieve from the high temperatures in a few weeks. I only lost the most tender and young plants. I have more starts and seeds. We still have a wonderful growing season ahead of us. Thanks for picking up my spirits.✨🌵🌷
I relax outside in my flower filled yard every evening right after the sun goes away. So relaxing.
We have coopers but this year they had a hard time. Due to the very cold winter the ash trees they nest in did not sprout new leaves till very late and the crows got to the nest because of no camoflague. They moved to another tree and rebuilt. But still not enough cover and again crows. Third time a charm. Late babies. Usually gone by March/April. I love watching the babies learn to fly.
I really love those lime green totes for seedlings i tried ro find that color this to no avail😢 i know in one of your videos i dont even know year ago or so , u mentioned how u wrrent fond of the color compared to tgebotgers u have but the success of the bright lime green the light effect didnur seed cups so great. Which makes sense!! I keep my eye out constantly for the lime green. Hopefully it will be out again somewhere. Love your gardens as usual. Love the facts on the cooper hawk. How beautiful. ❤
I now have two small and super cute bunnies in my front yard. They were eating the weeds and grasses in it. I just stopped what I was doing and watched them play and eat.
Robbie have you tried the bird app called Merlin Bird ID, from The Cornell Lab. Its wonderful and its free you can use it to ID birds by both sound and pictures. I love to turn it on while sitting outside and then I can look later at which birds have been in the garden. Its really amazing.
We’re hot and humid in Oklahoma. Nothing unusual there! After 8 years living here I still can’t stand the humidity. I have to get all gardening done in the early morning. Mid day is way too hot. Night? Too many mosquitoes. Forget zucchini here. Too many bugs and not enough sun in the garden…..tall trees.
Howdy, Robbie! I'm in Central Texas and growing loads of food…most of the garden is under shade cloth.
I'm growing sungold tomatoes this fall.
Do you have any watermelons on your plants?
My friend just installed a bubbling 🐦 bath on the patio !!!! This is going to be so much fun !!!! Thanks for encouraging us !!!!
I really like this kind of videos- I told my sister I hope she will start to watch also. 🙏👍🌻
Thanks Robbie for the much valued info.
Thank you for sharing this relaxing video~🤗
Why isn't my egg plant producing?
Hi Robbie. I have a quick question. It's been raining here off & on sometimes heavy rain. My crops are starting to turn yellow ugh! Is there something that I can do to? Should I cover the top of the soil? Or should I just let nature take it's course? I put all my time and energy into would I thought would be raised tote garden. But everything is just so saturated. Can you please give me ideas? You are our teacher and one of your students needs helped lol. Thanks Robbie ❤️
Oh–the baby robin let you come right up to her!
Have you tried making ollas water system with a clay pot?
Maybe you and your husband can build a green house.
There is a freeze dry system too if you have a bumper year. It apparently works really well.
Beautiful ❤️
My tomatoes and zucchini are finally huge and even tho I have covered and protected with the tulle something is still eating the leaves ugh!
I Love sitting in the garden in the evening! Thanks for all your vids! I have learned so much!❤❤
I'm in the central valley, and This is been the best summer in a decade. I'm very happy. When I heard that boombox in the background, I swear, it was outside my
window. Lol
I love nature ❤️ your place it's a paradise 😍 thank you for taking care of the nature.
A saint said that all the bad things will come cause human don't have love for the trees….
The fires here are burning everything…now they are burning Corfu 😢 so beautiful forests are burning…oh I'm so sad my friend 😖😖
Thank you for your video ❤️ please take care and be safe 💞💞💞
Hi Robbie, I'm in Cathedral City near Palm Springs and even with totes with pitchers and the patio fan under the patio canopy, my only survivors in this heat are my egg plants and a few withering peppers. Have to try starting seeds later in August maybe. All I've started germinate well, grow a couple inches and wither in the heat.
No mosquitoes?
I’m so jealous!😭
What can you do to discourage snakes? I've lost a nest of Phoebes to a snake and my dog was bitten by a copperhead. I'm afraid to spend time in my yard 😢
Done here in Florida we’re almost done with everything but watermelon and okra the supreme heat and rain beat down the tomatoes, we’re trying again in A couple of months ❤cheers to you all 🎉
Late afternoon his my favorite time of day,,,😊
