    The flowers are beginning to fade and should turn pinkish-brown as they do.

    Nothing lasts forever, all blooms fade…

  3. Remember that Hydrangea flower petals are actually specialized leaves called “bracts”; the flower itself is the tiny little dot in the middle. This means that when the flowers are done, they wind up looking like dead leaves.

    Ah, ok. The temps have been pretty high here, I just didn’t want it dying because I did or didn’t do something I should’ve.
