SUMMARY
-Add some peppermint oil to your cleaning solution and mop your floor with it to wipe away ant trails.
-Lemon basil and cinnamon basil can effectively repel the Anopheles gambiae complex, a group of mosquito species known to carry malaria.
-Lavender scent can protect your home, pets, and other plants from being infested by bugs.
-According to research, nepetalactone, the essential oil in catnip that your kitty loves so much, acts as an irritant against these common household pests.
-Rosemary is commonly used in cooking and has medicinal properties. It also attracts butterflies but deters flies and mosquitoes.
-Apply a few drops of eucalyptus essential oil to some cotton balls and put them in areas where you often find spiders.
-Mix baking soda with sugar, and place a bowl of water near it. This lethal trio creates a chemical reaction inside the roaches’ stomach, which, let’s just say, won’t end well for the little buggers.
-Marigold contains pyrethrum, a compound that’s commonly found in commercial bug sprays.
-Put original scented dryer sheets in these places to keep mice out.
-Protect yourself and your family by setting traps with peanut butter for mice and rats.
-Mouse-proof your house by placing sheets of aluminum foil in their hideouts.
-Try ultrasonic repellents if you’re willing to spend the money. These things emit high-frequency sounds that are only sensitive to a mouse’s ears.
-Borax is used as a cleansing agent and in glass-making. It can also kill ants, roaches, termites, spiders, and even mold.
-Use steel wool or copper mesh to mouse-proof your house and seal the deal with caulking.
-If you need to keep wild animals out of your garden, cayenne pepper is a perfectly safe way to keep them at bay. Sprinkle it on the topsoil to keep rabbits and squirrels from munching on your fresh veggies.
-Burning neem leaves gives about 76% mosquito protection for up to two hours. You can also heat the leaves up for 25% protection.
-Another plant that’s proven to fend off mosquitoes is lemon thyme. Smash it and apply it to your skin after running a test on a small area.

  1. I use ortho home defence it last alot longer than anything else i have tried all the way around the outside of my house and in my crawlspace and on the roof and from the outer walls 2 feet into the yard

  2. Mid size brown paper will dielectric wasp as they ,ove away from a competing nest even when afalke one hoping this is helpful
    L to you

  3. Peanut butter did not work. I stead the mice ate through my ceiling boards. A black plastic bag as a trap and a bucket of water did the trick. Don't have amice problem anymore

  4. In my home we had planted but in this as well spider net is made. Please give me the solution. Thanks.

  5. Spiders are welcome in my house. They help to rid microscopic beings from the walls, floors, and furniture.

  6. Talk about internet horse hockey. I hope you never give legal or financial advice. We have most of these plants around the house, for cooking, making drinks, etc. I am trapping and shooting mice and rats almost daily. Plenty of bugs here also. The essential oils, extracted, and sprayed all over the place MIGHT help a little, for a few days at most.

  7. This is how you keep fly's 🪰 out of the kitchen, put a bucket 🪣 of 💩💩 in your living room 😁😉

  8. But having mice on your homes attracts their predators: the snakes especially if you live near woodlands or forests

  9. We had black ants really bad, and it was only the kitchen. I went out side and sprinkled baking powder, and within days, they were all gone, I suppose they tracked it to the nest, injested it, and simply put blew up.

  10. I have tons of mint around my house. I don’t have any mice—but that’s because I have rats—but only for a few days until the mink do their regular rounds. I have ants. I have spiders galore. I’ve heard this theory before—maybe it works—but a tiny bit. Wherever I live I plant mint and lemon balm under the front steps: it provably keeps mice from just walking into the house when the door is open in summer. But I have spiders galore and that’s okay with me. I love those mink, too (I don’t have chickens).

  11. I have lots of mint plants around the house, and I realized that the cockroaches and grasshoppers love to live in their soil. Also, moth love to plant their eggs in the leaves which become extremely damaging worms eating all the leaves no matter what I used to eradicate them.
