What is this channel about: The adventurous journey of a charismatic late 30-something woman and her tolerating husband (haha!) remodeling their 1950s Farm house in rural northeast Arkansas in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains. We have 7 kids together ages 7-23 and our first grand baby on the way!! We’re slowly yet completely remodeling everything inside and out and bringing you along for the journey! We have a raised bed kitchen garden just beside the house, a 4000 square foot in-ground summer garden and then edible landscape and flower beds all around the house and yard where we grow evergreens, roses, medicinal herbs and more! Our home sits on 6 acres and our yard and garden make up about 2 acres. Expect to see cottage core, perennial gardens, pollinator gardens, cat videos, dog videos, DIY makeovers, organizing tips, decorating tips, interior design, Amazon hauls, recipes, edible landscaping, raised bed gardening and ALL organic gardening!

WHO IS THIS LADY? Elizabeth Richey a Mom to 7 in Arkansas, happily married, cat and dog mom and is the Founder & CEO of Huskey Consulting Company offering Financial Consulting Services, Forensic Accounting and Full Charge Bookkeeping for small businesses in Quickbooks Online!

  1. I am so enjoying your videos! I have been binge watching them. Your home is beautiful and your gardens are great. Keep the videos coming!

  2. Oh my gosh the hand mold thing my husband got me that and I laughed at him ha ha I think I ended up letting my kids do something with it but like you it’s sitting there for the longest time and I was like OK we gotta do some thing with this

  3. I’m amazed at the flowers growing poolside! I think mine would die with all the chlorinated water splashing out.

  4. Ha case in point as the cat walks over the pot. 😂 the kitchen garden looks so lush. I want more lights! I think I’m gonna try to get some since we’ll spend a little more time outside in the fall down here! And I love that yours are solar.

  5. OK I have to say I love seeing you and your husband find these compromises because I remember that he likes to chill and have a queen garden (omg talk to text haha I’m leaving it.) *he likes to till and have a clean garden and you have some different ideas about your gardening. So seeing him adjust to the messy vines for you and see you guys have a shared garden is very cool.
As you know, my husband used to really hate how Missy my garden looked. I think he’s happy now cause I finally have a fence around it and I am happy because it’s a natural looking fence.

  6. OK, possibly my last comment, but I was thinking the same thing about the tilling. I was noticing of course how the grass was getting uprooted and then tilled under which the worms will eat and then when you said the tomatoes just go on the ground and get tilled into that’s great too and weed pressure is no joke. I definitely think tilling can have its place.
I feel like in gardening as in a lot of things in life it can be expected for you to be all one way or another when really you can just do what works for you !

  7. I love the big, fluffy red ones! The only big, fluffy ones I have are the polar bear we should do a seed swap again! Although, I can’t remember if I ever sent you any seeds lol!

  8. Your garden is showing out girl!! I love the cucumbers growing up on the arches. All of the work you put into your yard and home is paying off… they’re both beautiful!! God bless you and your family ❣️

  9. Yes, I bought a couple garden signs from them❤ I love everything that you do. Don’t worry about how many times you post, post when you can ❤Have a blessed day.
