It's amazing how excited I get for your progress. Feel you on the imposter syndrome but really that's go-getter problems. So much passion, so little time. Your office is everything! Thanks to you I'm revamping my home office because atmosphere matters.
amen, you are not what you do….I can relate about not liking desks, I have table in my big office. I can stand at it, spread my projects out from any side and have meetings at the big table😁

Nobody is just one thing especially if we are parents. I am a nurse, but I'm also a gardener, cook, food preserver, avid book reader, chauffer, mother, spoiler of grandchildren, as well as a member of clubs and organizations. I also sew, crochet and do stained glass. None of these activities would lead anyone to believe that I'm not really a nurse. If we let people decide who and what we are then we become less. You are a homesteader, business women, writer, parent, cook, and friend etc. All aspects of our lives have avenues and time required that need to be balanced. We love to watch your videos, listen to your podcasts and read your books because of all the different experiences, avenues and aspects of your life touch and inspire us.

Oh my goodness, that grern sofa! 😍 Do you remember where you got it? You are one of the most authentic homesteaders out there. The homesteaders from back in the day had church and social activities, too. Ignore the haters.

I understand the imposter can be loud but you are so transparent and your vulnerability is beautiful! In doing other “non-homesteading things” you are living your God called to life. I think of it as your brand of homesteading. It is what makes you special. It makes you unique. People choose to listen to you and watch you because of this uniqueness. Don’t ever be silent. Don’t ever quit! So so many are cheering for you and so captivated by you. You homestead the way you are called to! We are cheering you on! Live your brand
You can wear many different hats. One doesn’t discredit you for another.

When I started homesteading I was a corporate executive with a large international corporation. My boss asked me to stop talking about the farm at work. He said it was unprofessional. Then one day we were in a huge corporate meeting with international execs. And he leans over and says, my wife is trying to grow tomatoes. Could you come over and teach her. I found that hilarious!
And I've been a pastor and a homesteader. That combination worked excellently.
