I was able to see this in person recently and it was amazing. The mix of colors (which happen to be my favs), textures, plants and yet also the use of repetition make it all so cohesive. It was beautiful from every angle/view and oh so calming. The result is wonderful and the journey and the tale of how Ellie got it there is so inspiring and helpful to all.

I have a woodsy hillside in my backyard covered with ivy & vinca vines that I’m slowly working on. I’ve been so inspired by this video of Miss Ellie’s garden; watched it at least 5 times and even shared it with my friends! I love how you’ve been so thoughtful and planned everything. I can tell this garden is made from years of hard work and passion for gardening 🌱💚

Beautiful gardens. We had a slope like yours 25 years ago. My husband built a wooden wall, but the rest of the hill was bare. We couldn't do anything with it so we moved.

Hi. I’m trying to replicate this hillside garden with creeping plants. I planted the creeping juniper etc. But, can you recommend other plants other than the birch trees that will help hold up the hillside? I have a hillside that is eroding.
