    I tried this a few times now. But i have never gotten more than 3 plants per onion bottom. How do youget so many? Also, is there a way to get larger onions this way. I LOVE large onion rings. Thank you for the best video i have seen on this topic!

    This is common knowledge. Isn’t it great – free food! Great to see a video of the process to inspire others.
    You can also do this with spring onions too – put straight into the earth and watch it grow.

    I can confirm this i just grew 9 plants from one old yellow onion sprouting in my onion box. I now have months of onions just by forgetting to clean out my old stock 😂. I'll keep doing it from now on. Next up red onions

    Thank you. I now know how to get free onion seed. I have onion in the fridge, brown, white, and red, along with the chive. I will do as this guy with a few of each and let some go to seed. If it works I will be able to grow my own from those very seeds.👏👍
